At 1300 hours, violence erupted in the peaceful town of An Najaf.  A suicide bombers car exploded unleashing destruction, chaos, and death on the sleepy town.  Insurgents had made their presence known. There had been a vicious disagreement between them and the people of An Najaf for supporting American soldiers.  Today’s bombing was a message for any Iraqi who dared lend support to the Americans.   [more]
